Good morning, great breakfast

Simple and delicious. Full fat Greek yogurt (Olympic Krema) with fresh strawberries, raw pumpkin seeds, and 2% cottage cheese, with a cafe Americano made with 18% cream. This, or something very much like this, is a standard breakfast for me. (Click the picture for the higher resolution shots.)
One bowl of goodness.
Cuppa yum.

  1. O boy, this looks great!

One question though, after reading about the Paleo diet and following Mark Sisson's recommendation about milk products, do you see a gain in body fat when drinking or eating milk products? Just curious because I do not drink milk products any more following their suggestions (Paleo and PB) to prevent BF gains.

  2. I don't see any change in body fat, but then again, I have never eliminated dairy. I don't think that Mark say absolutely no to it, but that each person should see whether they tolerate it and to be cognizant of what kind of dairy they consume. I can say that eating this kind of dairy (full fat yogurt and cream in my coffee, as well as butter) in the context of a Primal diet has me about 10 lbs lighter than when I followed a CW diet. This is in spite of the fact that I exercise less now that I am Primal that when I followed CW. Maybe I would lose some body fat if I cut out dairy, but it is such a good source of good fat (and I really enjoy it) that I may not find out any time soon.
